Alexander (AJ) Plumb is a New York–based actor. He will graduate from NYU in May with a BFA in Drama and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology, with training from Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, and Stonestreet Studios.
His credits include two lead roles in Dhar Mann (2.7 million views), Macbeth with NYU Shakespeare in the Square, Nick Bottom in Something Rotten!, and three lead roles in original productions at Playwrights Horizons Theater School.
Born and raised in Southern California, AJ discovered acting in third grade as the King of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland. He is drawn to both classical and contemporary work.
He previously served as Youth Lieutenant Governor of California, presiding over debates in the State Capitol, an experience that informs his leadership and communication as an actor.
AJ is represented by Take 3 Talent and RAFCO Management, works with Matrix Modeling Staffing, and is a California-certified bartender. Outside of acting, he enjoys Dodger baseball, pickleball, yoga, collecting Broadway playbills, and celebrity impressions.
